About Backpack Buddies
Backpack Buddies were designed and created by Andi Bartels. Andi is a teacher and a mom to two young children. She has always loved creating things and finding new solutions to problems. As a mom, she is constantly surrounded by plush toys, this is how Backpack Buddies were born. Andi had a dream one night in which her son, Nolan, was wearing a stuffed animal as a backpack. She immediately started sketching, measuring, and researching custom plush toys. She found a great little company that was willing to work with her to bring her dream to life and several months later they were ready for production. The adorable kiddos modeling the backpack buddies are Andi's children - Nolan and Ella.
